Meet Becky Yohe
A native Floridian, Becky and her family moved to Lakeland in the summer of 2014. Growing up, her mom was a teacher and her father was an artist. As a young girl, Becky worked and helped her dad in his antique store and stained glass studio (Old South Stained Glass) in the small central Florida town of Eustis. In college, she studied and majored in Studio Art with an emphasis on ceramics. Soon after college, Becky got married and began her career as an ACSI certified art teacher at a private school in south Florida where she had the privilege of teaching kids grades K-12, and loved it!
Once her first child came along, Becky and her family made the commitment for her to stay home and enjoy being a mom. Over time, she has done commission work, taught private art lessons, and began to teach adult painting classes in the evenings for various well known businesses.
Becky loves art in all its forms and has a growing passion to share it with others. She is excited to encourage creativity at Art Centric Studio and looks forward to seeing you soon!
Meet Nicolette Salvaggio
Born and raised in the beautiful city of Lakeland, Florida, Nicolette graduated from our very own Harrison School of the Arts! She is in the process of earning her degree in Preschool Education and loves art in all it's forms. Her passion is seeing the confidence art can instill in every student. She will be helping instruct our preschool and after school programs at the studio and is so excited to share her love for creativity!
Meet Corine Waters
Corine Waters was raised in a family of musicians, artists, antique dealers and collectors. She spent many a summer day in old barns searching for treasure and in musty studios watching restoration on an old painting. Corine was always creative, as children often are, and acted in plays and drew throughout much of her childhood. Art wasn't a priority when she went to UF, though, and she studied to work in the horse industry (another lifelong passion). After a short stint working for a horse magazine, she changed course, got married and had kids. Life had other plans.
After a few years working in nonprofit business, Corine quit working to stay home with her young children. In those years she returned to art and began painting, drawing and taking classes whenever she could.
When her children started school, she began teaching art and went back to school for a Masters of Art Education. She is currently teaching at Oscar J. Pope elementary where she teaches all different types of learners.
Corine has two children, Katie is 12 and Kelly is 10 and in her spare time she loves to be outdoors, boating, fishing, kayaking and scuba diving with her family.

The spearhead of Florida Southern’s Garden Club, Danika’s proud of her green thumb and lighthearted spirit. She currently works as the Communications Director for YLakeland Florida, where she designs their graphics, content, and website. You can often find her sipping coffee at any of Lakeland’s coffee shops, wrapped up in a good book, and spending time with friends around the city.
Danika believes art is an intrinsic part of the human experience, an inherent part of everyone's abilities! She is looking forward to encouraging creativity in you!

Meet Ashley Vogel
Hi! My name is Ashley Vogel, and my husband and I moved to Lakeland in 2009. I grew up an hour away in Orlando, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida (GO GATORS). I worked in health care until my daughter was born, and now I stay at home with my children.
I've always loved creating art with all different mediums, and this past year I took up woodworking. After encouragement from friends and family, I started a custom home decor business on the side called Giving Tree Handmade. It's very satisfying to create something beautiful and useful for your home with your own hands, and I would love to pass on my love of woodworking to you!
