Meet the Artists
Meet Mrs Becky
A native Floridian, Becky and her family moved to Lakeland in the summer of 2014. Growing up, her mom was a teacher and her father was an artist. As a young girl, Becky worked and helped her dad in his antique store and stained glass studio (Old South Stained Glass) in the small central Florida town of Eustis. In college, she studied and majored in Studio Art with an emphasis on ceramics. Soon after college, Becky got married and began her career as an ACSI certified art teacher at a private school in south Florida where she had the privilege of teaching kids grades K-12, and loved it!
Once her first child came along, Becky and her family made the commitment for her to stay home and enjoy being a mom. Over time, she has done commission work, taught private art lessons, and began to teach adult painting classes in the evenings for various well known businesses.
Becky loves art in all its forms and has a growing passion to share it with others. She is excited to encourage creativity at Art Centric Studio and looks forward to seeing you soon!
Meet Mrs Kim
I am a native Floridian, raised in Pensacola which is where I met my husband of 20 years, a retired Navy Chief Hospital Coorpsman. I have always had a love for art and took it as an elective all four years in high school. I am a mother to four sweet kiddos, and have been a stay at home mom for 12 years.
I love teaching kids about art and seeing their faces light up when they finish a project!
Meet Ms Zariah
Raised in the beautiful city of Lakeland, I fell in love with the art studio the first time I went .
I started out as a student at the art studio and soon started volunteering there. After volunteering there for a while, I got the opportunity to hired as an assistant! I now consider it as my home away from home.
I love watching the kids excel in art and watching them as they grow up and become better artist everyday.
Meet Ms Maddie
Bio coming soon!
Meet Mrs Heather
I grew up right here in Lakeland! As I was deciding on a career, I had hopes of finding something that would blend my love for science and technology with art and creativity. I found interior design! After finishing my degree in interior design, I worked with an architect here in town designing mostly commercial spaces. It was a lot of fun!
It was during that time I met my wonderful husband and got married. Once my first baby was born, I decided to stay home. Since then, we have added 2 more babies to our family and started homeschooling.
My favorite things to do are travel and create things and I'm slowly but surely turning from someone who killed every plant I owned into a plant lady.
